              Bridget Young, Executive Director
Ms. Young will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s success in close collaboration with the Executive Board, Board of Directors, and participating tribes.
Ms. Young comes from Lakota ancestors, and grew up in Valley Center, CA surrounded by several Southern California Reservations. Ms. Young and her three daughters have participated in various sports and activities. She attended Orange Glen High School and Brigham Young University studying, pre-law and English. Ms. Young was involved in the founding of a non-profit in Utah that offers affordable competitive softball teams for rural communities. Ms. Young gained valuable experience in college athletics and professional sports. As the Director of Operations and Equipment for Brigham Young University’s softball program, she was part of the coaching staff when BYU won three West Coast Conference titles, as well as when the Cougars made appearances at the NCAA Tournament each of those years. Recently, working with the San Diego Padres as their Project Manager of Ballpark Operations, she oversaw the day-to-day operations of Petco Park and managed over $50 million in renovations.

Raymond Santiago, Program Manager

Raymond oversee's the sports programs and gameday operations. He was born in Chula Vista, CA and was raised on the Viejas Indian Reservation. He has played on the Viejas ITS team since he was 12 years old. Raymond attended Grossmont College where he studied sports and recreation. Raymon worked at the Viejas Recreation Center as their Recreation Aid for 7 years, where he worked very closely with the after school program and the athletics department. He has been with ITS since June of 2018. Raymond is a proud husband, and father of six!

 Jasmine Velasquez, Program Coordinator
Jasmine  is a tribal member from the Muscogee (Mvskoke) Nation. The tribe is originally located in the south near the creeks of Alabama but were relocated to Oklahoma as a result of the Trail of Tears. Jasmine’s family was relocated again to Venice California, where Jasmine attended Culver City High School. She was a two-sport varsity athlete in Softball and Cheerleading and excelled in the Sports Medicine program. Jasmine attended Azusa Pacific University and received her degree in Athletic Training and went on to obtain a Masters in Education from USC. Jasmine has a heart and passion to advocate and promote health and wellness for Indigenous youth athletes.

Malaya Pojas, Program Assistant
Malaya will assist in gameday operations, marketing, social media and administravtive tasks. 
Malaya is a proud member of the La Jolla Band of Luiseño Indians. She is entering her third year at San Diego State University where she is double majoring in both Communications and American Indian Studies. During the fall she will declare her minor in Journalism. Malaya hopes to apply her majors and minor after graduation towards a career in hands on Journalism within Native American communities.
Malaya has been involved with ITS since she was four years old through the various offered sports programs. Malaya started working with ITS as a Program Aide in July 2022.

Program Aides

Serve as on-site point of contact for the organization at league and event locations. Assist with registration, participant eligibility verification, and data collection. Ensure programs remain on schedule and serve as primary contact for officials, scorekeepers, and coaches. The current Program Aides are:
